About Fare For All

Fare For All is a great way to save money on quality nutritious food. We buy fruits, vegetables, and frozen meats in bulk to save you up to 40% off grocery store prices. We select the best food from our shipments, pre-packaging it to give you the greatest deals. We accept Cash, Credit/Debit cards, and EBT.  Fare For All is community supported and open to everyone. The more people who participate, the better.

Our New Cottage Grove Site!

Our first Express distribution in Cottage Grove was a huge success, although we sold out of most of our product we could fit in our truck. We apologize to those who were not able to receive your packages, but you should have received a gift certificate in the mail to use at our next distribution. We will be bringing two trucks with twice as much product as our last distribution, a third cash register, as well as a few other strategies to speed up and better the experience for our customers. We want to say a huge "thank you" to everybody who came out in April to support our program, and we look forward to seeing some new faces as well, so bring your friends!

The church, which is located at 8100 Belden Boulevard, will be offering all of our usual Fare For All packages. The distribution will be held between 4:00pm and 6:00pm on the following dates in 2012: May 10, June 14, July 19, August 16, September 13, October 11, November 8, and December 6. As a reminder, no pre-registration is required, and cash, credit, debit, and EBT cards are all accepted. See you in Cottage Grove!

Volunteer Awards

Since April was Volunteer Appreciation Month, we wanted to highlight a few of our outstanding volunteers that put extra effort into making our program as successful as possible. If you have participated in our program before, you very well know that every single one of our volunteers are critical to the operation of all of our Fare For All sites. Here are some stand outs from our three main Fare For All programs:

Traditional Volunteer: Lorraine Thurber

Lorraine has been the Mankato site leader for many years. Every distribution day, she drives all the way from Mankato, in any weather, to arrive at our warehouse with a big hug and a warm smile. We appreciate all the hard work she does to make FFA possible!

Express Volunteer: Lee Trelstad

Lee has only been the Roseville site leader since November, but since he has taken over, he has brought new passion, energy and organization to the site. He has surrounded himself with a fantastic team of volunteers, and we so appreciate his dedication.

Monday Sales Volunteer: Tom Marquardt

Tom is such a dedicated volunteer, coming to our warehouse twice a month to help with Monday sales. He is great at showing new customers the ropes and will always stay late if it is busy. Monday sales wouldn’t be as smooth or successful without him.
