Countries in which a large portion of the population battles hunger daily are usually poor and often lack the social safety nets we enjoy, such as soup kitchens, food stamps, and job training programs. When a family that lives in a poor country cannot grow enough food or earn enough money to buy food, there is nowhere to turn for help.

Fare For All Express! , EFN’s newest program, works with neighborhood social service organizations, subsidized housing, and other community partners to anyone on a budget quality, affordable grocery packages each month.

Available at metro and neighborhood “distribution sites” across the Twin Cities area once per month, Fare For All Express! packages come in three varieties: Regular (meat, vegetables, fruits) package, Meat Only package, or a Vegetarian package.  Each package is full of beautiful, fresh, products – quality fruits and vegetables and/or frozen quality meats.  The packages vary each month as well as at each site.  Dietary and cultural preferences can be accommodated as well.

Much like a grocery store, the Fare For All Express! program offers people the ability to take their groceries home with them at the time of payment. No pre registration or pre payment is necessary - simply drop by a distribution site and pay with your EBT card (Food Support), cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card!

Packages cost between $10 and $17 - up to a 50% savings off of what you might pay at a conventional store! Quality nutritious groceries should not be a luxury!  Find the FFA Express! site nearest you today and come on by for the next distribution.
