Fare For All welcomes individuals, families, and groups to volunteer with us. We have a variety of opportunities for volunteers. We welcome you to help out any time of the year.
In order to volunteer with Fare For All contact Sarah Nelson at 763-450-3897 or snelson@emergencyfoodshelf.org to share your interests and availability. There is a Volunteer Application and a Liability and Photo release that volunteers need to fill out. We do appreciate two weeks advance planning time so we can make sure your experience is as fulfilling as possible. There is sure to be an activity that best meets your interests – a few important points are as follows:
1. For safety reasons, we can not have volunteers younger than 12 working in our warehouse.
2. Volunteers younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
3. Fare For All can accommodate a group of most sizes – don’t hesitate to contact us if you wish to plan a larger event for up to 50 people! Our warehouse activities are great for team building.
When you come to volunteer, expect to have a tour of our facility and an overview of our programs. We like to make sure that each group knows how much of an impact they will be making by volunteering for Fare For All!
