Volunteer Program Overview

Emergency Foodshelf Network welcomes individuals, families, and groups to volunteer with us.  We have a variety of opportunities for volunteers – including sorting donated food, packing specialty food boxes, and helping us educate others about what they can do to help fight hunger.

Volunteer Guidelines

EFN's offers many volunteer opportunities that will fulfill your goals, whether it be giving back to the community, supporting a mission to feed Minnesota neighbors, or strengthening your team. A few things to keep in mind as you plan a group volunteer activity:

 

  1. For safety reasons, we can not have volunteers younger than 12 working in our warehouse. 
  2. Volunteers younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
  3. EFN can accommodate a group of most sizes – don’t hesitate to contact us if you wish to plan a larger event for up to 50 people!  Our warehouse activities are great for team building.

Volunteer Application
In order to volunteer at EFN you will need to fill out a Volunteer Application. Please select the appropriate application(s) from the list below. In order to download the PDFs, right click on the link and choose "Save As..." and then save it to your computer (like your desktop).
