Socially, the lack of food erodes relationships and feeds shame so that those most in need of support are often least able to call on it.

Big Thanks to Supporters of the Macy's Holidazzle Parade

Thank you to our matching sponsor, Ameriprise Financial. With their support, Emergency Foodshelf Network (EFN) collected 2,105 lbs. of food and over $47,000 in cash.

The Macy’s Holidazzle Parade lit up Nicollet Mall at 6:30 pm each Thursday through Sunday between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. The parade chugged down Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis with Emergency Foodshelf Network volunteers, who dressed in lighted train conductor outfits, pushing shopping carts and jingling bells, to ask the community for food and cash donations in support of hunger relief.  Thousands of parade goers came out to help EFN and Ameriprise Financial feed families in need this holiday season while experiencing the magic of Macy’s Holidazzle Parade.

Enjoy the EFN Holidazzle volunteer pictures.

Another big thank you to the individuals who helped EFN hit the streets:
