Target Volunteers Sort, Pack and Prepare with Enthusiasm

Emergency Foodshelf Network saw red when 100 store managers from around the state, visited the warehouse to sort potatoes, package rice and assemble food packs for the foodshelves. The energy was high and productivity even higher. Read More

Lawmakers Address Food Stamp Red Tape

Seniors on fixed income, ill individuals or anyone in need of government foodstamp assistance must fill out a 22-page application in order to receive the benefits. This application must be filled out monthly. A recent report stated that roughly 200,000 Minnesotans who qualify for foodstamps are not taking advantage of the program. Government officials are considering certain applicants the ability to apply twice a year. Read more at Kare 11. Read More

Congratulations Wayzata High School

Congratulations to Wayzata High School who participated in "Gnimocemoh"  (homecoming backwards) to benefit The Lost Harvest campaign. The school held the weeklong event and raised enough funds to provide two truckloads of fresh produce. Read More

Pass the Goodness!

Beginning now through February 28, Caribou's "Pass the Goodness" campaign will donate one pound of Coffee Blend coffee to Emergency Foodshelf Network for every pound of Pass the Goodness coffee that is purchased at any Caribou Coffee establishment. Read More
